Weekend Shenanigans...

Is it really already Sunday evening?  It was a pretty darn good weekend on my end so I wanted to share some weekend shenanigans with you....

Friday's Ventures

My friend Ashley over at 3 Minute Kitchen, won a free party at a downtown dueling piano bar so Nick and I joined her and her husband for some free food and fun! To Rum Runners we ventured..

 Saturday Doings

We had 2 house showings on Saturday which made it difficult to stick around the house for too long.  I browsed the mall for an hour and came out empty handed (how does that happen?), while Nick spent some time at the bookstore.  Then we headed over to a cook out at Nick's Aunt's house.  We had a good time with family and made some new friends!  I met Sally who is a professional photographer.  Check out her Facebook page here:  Sally Salerno Photography and tell her Celebrate the Goodness sent you!

Sunday Relaxation

Typically Sundays are a time of rest and relaxation and today was no different.  We went to the late service at church followed by sharing a lunch of these:

McDonald's Spicy Chicken McBites

They are pretty tasty, but definitely have a kick to them so have a drink close by!  I recommend having these with their Ranch dipping sauce, which helps tone down the spiciness.  After lunch I took a short nap before we had another house showing.  Yes, three in one weekend!  We are on a roll with showings!  We ran a few errands and then I came home and tackled some work, laundry and made chicken fajitas for dinner.  Can you just tell you how much I LOVE fajitas?!  I told Nick, it's going in our menu rotation.  Yes, we have a list of meals that we typically rotate on a monthly basis, making it easier to grocery shop.  Maybe I'll do a post on that one day.  Now it's time for some Olympic Closing Ceremonies..boo I don't want them to end...and some Nintendo!  You read that right; I said Nintendo!  We have the FC Twin...the closest thing to old school Nintendo that actually works and doesn't cost a fortune!  It plays both Nintendo and Super Nintendo games.  Yeah we are nerds, but we don't care!

What did you do this weekend that was fun?  Any exciting plans coming up for this week?  Here's to hoping you have a wonderful week!
