I had intentions of making jewelry tonight for my Etsy store, but instead I decided to change up the blog a little and calm down the background. Feedback is always welcome and you can always reach me by email at cthegoodness@gmail.com I'm still trying to learn the ins and outs of blogging and that's why I can't wait until the Healthy Living Summit next week!!!!
It's been a while since I've done a WIAW post, aka What I Ate Wednesday, so I thought I'd share some food pictures!
Breakfast
I definitely go through rotations with what I eat for breakfast. After about a week, I usually have to change things up. This week, my go to breakfast was various flavors of yogurt, fresh strawberries and granola. This morning's breakfast featured strawberry nonfat yogurt, vanilla almond granola and some fresh strawberries. Quite yummy and filling, which is something I always struggle with when it comes to breakfasts.
Lunch was a grab and go. We had a house showing at 1 and since we didn't leave the house this morning, "show ready," we had to run home at lunch and straighten things up. I made a quick Turkey and Swiss sandwich on a bread thin and grabbed a bag of 100 calorie Goldfish. I tell ya, Goldfish are so good when you haven't had them in a while and the 100 calorie bag really is a perfect amount. I had an unpictured Caffeine Free Diet Coke to drink.
Dinner was an easy meal to cook, but also a tasty one. I marinated shrimp over night in Soy Sauce, Sesame Oil, Teriyaki Sauce and Lime juice. Once I cooked the shrimp, I added it to a bag of Trader Joe's Vegetable Fried Rice. I also added in some broccoli for some extra greenery! I had a Blue Moon with an orange slice to drink.
For a snack I had a serving of my favorite chips, Late July's Mild Green Mojo Tortilla chips! I love these things. If I don't ration out a serving size then I easily could sit and eat the whole bag.
There you have my WIAW. Hop on over to Peas & Crayon's blog if you want to join in and link up!
I want to leave you with this picture of the sky that I took the other night and a lovely quote:
"I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly
spirits of trees, and for the blue dream sky and for everything that is natural,
which is infinite, which is yes." ~E. E. Cummings

Oh your dinner looks delicous!!
