Oh, how Pinteresting..for the home

Wow, where has the week gone?  I can't believe tomorrow is already Thursday.  I feel like this week has gotten away from me.  Not so much in a bad way, but there's a lot I intended to accomplish and have yet to touch.

For a quick update, my husband and I have started house hunting again and put an offer on a house today!  We are very excited.  Hopefully, we'll hear something soon.  It had all, but one item on our "wish" list, which was a garage.  It does have a carport, which is a decent compromise.

On the medical front, I've been dizzy for weeks now; off and on.  Finally, went to the doctor and they think it's a case of vertigo.  Joy, joy.  I'll be starting a medication tomorrow that will hopefully nip it in the bud and that'll be the end of it!

I've been having some fun in the kitchen lately and can't wait to share some recipes soon!  I also have a DIY project to share as well.  For tonight though, I have some of my favorite "pins" on Pinterest to share with you.  I've linked up with The Vintage Apple again this week:

Since we are house hunting, I wanted to share some of my favorite "For the Home" pins.

I adore benches and this looks so easy to make!  Who would have thought that a bench could be made by turning a shelf side ways?  Genius, if I do say so myself!

any shelf turned on it's side.. add long foam cover pad and pillows. awesome

I definitely don't have a green thumb, but I love the look of this.  I think it would be a neat way to grow herbs.  Whatcha think?

Pallet Planter

I remember how much I loathed cleaning out our refrigerator at our townhouse.  I'm totally investing in this Saran Wrap when we get a new house!  What a wonderful trick.

Line fridge shelves with Saran Wrap’s Press and Seal paper, then peel off and replace when dirty. Genius!

I'm really hoping our home has a separate bath tub and shower in the master bathroom suite.  If so, I'm totally investing in this!  A book and a glass of wine in the tub..yes, please!

NEED!

This would be a great way to store my arts/crafts materials and also have a working space..all in one!

Folds up to an Awesome framed piece of art

Lastly, I love the use of space here on the side of the stairs.

  1. I love your spirit...we really should "celebrate the goodness" more!

Enjoyed your pins...I also don't have a green thumb, but it would be cool to grow some herbs for use in cooking, etc.

Hope you'll stop by my blog and say hello!
